Vari, who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri in the year 2000, started her passion of photography back in 2003. Her focus towards maternity photography evolved when she, while pregnant in 2006, felt the need to be able to capture the joy of pregnancy, and help society redefine the image of the pregnant female form.

Vari carefully reviews hundreds of RAW photographs from each of her maternity session, and with a skilled artistic eye, selects a group of images that reflect the unique beauty of each woman. While the editing of each picture is generally subtle, the resulting impact of this attention to detail on the finished photographs is often dramatic, ensuring that the curve of your back is every bit as beautiful as your growing belly.
